Space games

Make a space game

Space is the best place for big ideas: there's no floor, no walls, and the aliens are made of jelly. Choose a mission to start.

Mission 1 · Pop

The Bubble Invaders starter game
Bubble Invaders

Rows of jelly aliens march down. Blow bubbles to pop them before they land.

Try: “Make the aliens dance from side to side faster each wave.”

Mission 2 · Cruise

The Comet Cruise starter game
Comet Cruise

Fly sideways through space and pop space jellies with star beams.

Try: “Add comets that give me a shield for five seconds.”

Mission 3 · Explore

The Star Cruiser 3D starter game
Star Cruiser 3D

Fly between candy planets and collect stardust. No rush.

Try: “Put a ring around the pink planet I can fly through.”

Bubble Invaders, made from a Vibe Kids™ starter.

Make it feel like space

  • Stars that move. “Make the stars in the back move slower than the ones in front.” That's called parallax, and it makes things look far away.
  • Floaty controls. “Let my ship keep drifting a little after I let go.”
  • Waves. “After all the aliens pop, send a new wave that's a bit faster.”
  • A space song. Pick the Space scale in the Sound Studio for a mysterious tune.

Space-friendly blasters

On Vibe Kids™, blasters shoot bubbles, stars, paint and confetti, and the things you hit are silly monsters and objects that pop into sparkles. It keeps space games fun for everyone, including your little brother.
